In an email dated November 5, 2025, AAG Todd Blanche has asked William Marshall of the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) to “explore any and all avenues within BOP’s authority to seek and request the transfer of Tina Peters from Colorado Department of Corrections to a federal BOP facility.”
The email goes on to say, “We ask that BOP send out a request to Colorado as soon as possible and that BOP begin preparations for any possible transfer into federal custody.”
It certainly appears that the stage has been set for Tina Peters to be released from prison potentially under whistleblower protections. Once implemented, this should free up a cell for Jena Griswold in the CO Department of Corrections.
